Trail #372: World Peace Through Beer Full Moon

World Peace Through Beer is celebrated by Hash House Harriers kennels worldwide the closest hashing day to United Nations Day: http://www.worldpeacethroughbeer.org/
As it turns out, that day is also a full moon trail. So Syracuse and Utica teamed up to make this happen. As there was interest from other kennels in joining, moving this one to Syracuse.
Early UN day Prelube: If anyone is interested, very early ‘prelube’ starting around 5 will be at the Syracuse Veterans Cemetary (4069 Howlett Hill Rd, Syracuse, NY 13215) honoring our veterans buried there. Taps is played at Sunset. OTD and a bottle will be there paying respects before heading to the prelube.
Trail Prelube: Buried Acorn, 881 Van Rensselaer St, Syracuse, NY 13204. Food trucks arrive at 5 or you can bring your own food. Suspect people will start drinking around 6.
Trail start: Pink lot 20 in the Destiny USA parking lot, farthest back corner of Solar Street. There is a large grey container, park over there. 7:09 start (prelube is close to the start). $5 hash cash gets you Utica beer, world peace through beer, alcohol, and a patch for first 29 of you. Other hab will be available for sale also.
Trail will be prelaid, beer nears will be out of OTD’s car. True trail is under 4.5 miles, mostly urban with possible short way-too-shiggy section.
After at Dave and Buster’s in Destiny USA (you can walk there from your car if needed). Games games games and their kitchen is open until 11:30.
What to Bring: Craniumgear to protect your cranium, $5 hash cash, warm clothes cause it’s getting cold out, shiny reflective clothes as we will be crossing roads in the dark, cranium lamps to see where you are going, towel, whistle, change of clothes and shoes for after, virgins, towel for a friend, sense of adventure, vessel, sense of humor.
Bonus patch – if anyone does both this and Flour City WPTB trail on Thursday, I will have considered that you earned the OTD patch.
