Trail #645: Red White and Blue Moon at Oxbow

If I’m looking at hashstorical records right, this will be the first SOH4 Oxbow Falls trail since 2017. Those of you who did the May 2020 ghost trail should expect deja vu as One Trick and maybe some helpers celebrate July 4th at one of the most interesting county parks in the region. As we seem to go every 3 years, if you miss this your next chance is 2026.
When: Tuesday July 4th, Earlier 1:09 pm start time. That’s holiday Utica standard time and definitely means trail is starting closer to 130/145 but the hare is hoping the beermeister has coolers there by 1.
Where: “Oxbow Falls Disc Golf Course” will get you there in google. 3821 Watson Road Canastota is the start address other maps use, which is the parking lot by the disc golf course with an HHH on the ground. DO NOT GO to the “Oxbow Falls parking lot” on Oxbow road. Some of you will anyway and we are powerless to stop you, but we won’t see you on trail.
What to bring: Change of clothes, change of shoes, towel, whistle, virgins, vessel, cranium covering to protect you from the moon harmful cosmic rays, money for the after, disc golf stuff if you want to play before trail (otd can loan you a set also), extra towel for your hasher friend hungover from Monday’s trail, long socks if you have them, bug spray, sunscreen, you stopped reading a while ago, towel for your virgin who forgot one.

Utica area after after: Utica Blue Sox at 7, fireworks at proctor park 9:30
